Western Warriors FC is a not-for-profit community football club in Sydney’s north-west, incorporated in New South Wales in 2026.
We're a new club, run by parents, for kids who want to play, belong to a team, and get better.
Western Warriors FC는 2026년 뉴사우스웨일스에 설립된 시드니 북서부의 비영리 커뮤니티 축구 클럽입니다.
학부모들이 직접 운영하며, 축구를 즐기고 팀의 일원이 되어 함께 성장하고 싶은 아이들을 위한 클럽입니다.
Our beginning
클럽이 생긴 이야기
Western Warriors FC started the way a lot of clubs start — with a few parents talking on the sideline.
The same two things kept coming up.
We wanted our kids to get real game time, in a real season, on a real team.
And we wanted the training in between to be worth showing up for.
So in 2026, we decided to turn that idea into something real and started Western Warriors FC.
The club was started by families from the local Korean community, and we're proud of those roots.
You'll hear Korean on our sidelines, and that's part of who we are.
At the same time, Western Warriors has always been a club for everyone.
Our committee comes from different backgrounds, and so do our players. We want that diversity to keep growing with the club.
Western Warriors FC는 몇몇 부모들이 경기장 옆에서 나눈 작은 이야기에서 시작됐습니다.
이야기를 나누다 보면 늘 비슷한 두 가지 얘기가 나왔습니다.
아이들이 제대로 된 팀에 소속되어 한 시즌을 뛰고, 실제 경기에서 충분한 경험을 쌓을 수 있었으면 좋겠다는 것.
그리고 경기와 경기 사이의 훈련도 단순히 시간을 보내는 시간이 아니라, 아이들의 성장에 실제로 도움이 되는 훈련이었으면 좋겠다는 것이었습니다.
그렇게 2026년, 생각으로만 남겨두지 않고 직접 시작해 보기로 했습니다.
그리고 Western Warriors FC를 만들었습니다.
우리 클럽은 이 지역의 한인 가정들을 중심으로 시작했습니다.
우리는 그 시작과 뿌리를 소중하게 생각합니다. 경기장에서는 자연스럽게 한국어도 들릴 겁니다. 그것 역시 Western Warriors FC의 한 모습입니다.
동시에 Western Warriors FC는 누구에게나 열려 있는 클럽입니다.
우리 운영진도 서로 다른 배경을 가진 사람들로 구성되어 있고, 선수들도 마찬가지입니다. 앞으로 클럽과 함께 이러한 다양성도 계속 커져 가기를 바랍니다.
What matters
우리가 중요하게 생각하는 것
Football should be fun first.
Kids who enjoy their season come back the next one, and the ones who keep coming back are the ones who get better.
But being part of a team also teaches things a child can't learn on their own.
Turning up when you'd rather not. Passing when you'd rather shoot.
Losing without falling apart, and winning without rubbing it in.
Those lessons matter to us just as much as what happens on the ball.
And for players who want to go further, we want Western Warriors to help them take that next step — not become the club they have to leave in order to keep progressing.
We're proud of where our club came from, and we want every family to feel just as comfortable with where they come from.
No one should have to leave their culture at the gate to fit in here.
Our kids can stay who they are and still be on the same team.
축구는 무엇보다 재미있어야 한다고 생각합니다.
한 시즌을 즐겁게 보낸 아이가 다음 시즌에도 돌아옵니다. 그리고 그렇게 계속 축구를 하는 아이가 결국 더 좋은 선수로 성장합니다.
하지만 팀에서만 배울 수 있는 것들도 있습니다.
가기 싫은 날에도 팀을 위해 나가는 것.
내가 슛하고 싶을 때도 더 좋은 선택이라면 동료에게 패스하는 것.
져도 쉽게 무너지지 않고, 이겼다고 상대를 무시하지 않는 것.
우리는 이런 경험 역시 축구 실력만큼 중요하다고 생각합니다.
그리고 더 높은 곳을 목표로 하는 선수에게는 Western Warriors가 다음 단계로 나아가는 데 도움이 되는 클럽이었으면 합니다.
더 성장하기 위해 떠나야만 하는 클럽이 아니라, 그 성장을 계속 이어갈 수 있도록 도와주는 클럽을 만들고 싶습니다.
우리는 우리 클럽이 어디에서 시작했는지를 자랑스럽게 생각합니다.
그리고 이곳에 오는 모든 가족도 자신의 배경과 문화를 편하게 가지고 올 수 있었으면 합니다.
이곳에 어울리기 위해 자신의 문화를 문 밖에 두고 들어올 필요는 없습니다.
아이들은 자기 모습 그대로 같은 팀의 일원이 될 수 있습니다.

Game time is shared.
In our community teams, we aim to give every player a fair share of game time across the season.
If you ever have concerns about your child’s game time, talk to us. We'd rather have the conversation than leave you wondering.

커뮤니티 팀에서는 시즌 전체를 놓고 모든 선수가 고르게 경기 경험을 쌓을 수 있도록 노력합니다.
아이의 출전 시간에 대해 궁금하거나 걱정되는 부분이 있다면 편하게 말씀해 주세요. 혼자 고민하시게 두기보다 함께 이야기하는 것이 낫다고 생각합니다.
Every coach is checked.
All of our coaches hold a current Working With Children Check.
Anyone assisting in a coaching role is expected to meet the same requirement.

클럽의 축구
Kids come to football for different reasons, and they don't all want the same thing from it.
Some are here for the friends and a run around on a Saturday.
Some want a proper team and a proper season.
Some have decided they really want to improve, and they want training that treats that ambition seriously.
We want Western Warriors to be a club where all three can belong.
That's why we run teams across different ages and levels, and try to place each player where they'll get the most out of their season — not simply where they look best on paper.
If you're not sure what suits your child, talk to us.

아이마다 축구를 하는 이유도, 축구에서 원하는 것도 다릅니다.
친구들과 함께 토요일에 뛰는 것이 좋아서 오는 아이가 있습니다.
제대로 된 팀에 소속되어 한 시즌을 경험하고 싶은 아이도 있습니다.
축구를 정말 잘하고 싶어서, 그 목표에 맞는 훈련을 받고 싶은 아이도 있습니다.
Western Warriors FC에는 그런 아이들 모두를 위한 자리가 있었으면 합니다.
그래서 여러 연령대와 수준에 맞는 팀을 운영하고, 각 선수가 한 시즌 동안 가장 많이 배우고 성장할 수 있는 자리를 찾으려고 합니다.
단순히 서류상 보기 좋은 팀에 넣기 위해서가 아닙니다.
아이에게 어떤 환경이 가장 잘 맞을지 모르겠다면 편하게 이야기해 주세요.
짐작하기보다 함께 이야기해서 결정하는 것이 낫다고 생각합니다.
Player development
코칭
Western Warriors FC engages Mr Jin’s Soccer Academy as our coaching partner.
Their qualified coaches deliver our player development program on behalf of the club.
All players register with Western Warriors FC and pay their fees to the club.
The club manages all programs, teams and fees.
Western Warriors FC는 Mr Jin’s Soccer Academy를 코칭 파트너로 두고 있습니다.
아카데미의 자격 있는 코치들이 클럽을 대신해 선수 발전 프로그램을 진행합니다.
모든 선수는 Western Warriors FC에 등록하고 회비도 클럽에 납부합니다.

Club governance

Western Warriors FC Incorporated is a registered not-for-profit association in New South Wales (INC2600287).
The club isn't here to make money for anyone.
Membership fees go back into grounds, equipment, coaching and the programs our kids take part in.
An elected committee looks after the accounts and reports to members each year.
Our Code of Conduct, Member Protection, Child Safeguarding, Complaints and Privacy policies are all published in one place — view our club policies.
