Children and young people require additional protection. Western Warriors FC maintains a separate Child Safe & Safeguarding Policy covering matters including Working With Children Checks, appropriate coach and volunteer behaviour, one-on-one situations, physical contact, communication with children, transport, change rooms, photography and video, social media, and reporting child safety concerns.

The MPIO provides information, support and guidance about available options. The MPIO is not responsible for independently investigating complaints or deciding outcomes.

MPIO는 회원 보호 관련 문제에 대해 정보와 지원을 제공하고, 가능한 대응 절차를 안내합니다. MPIO는 독립적으로 민원을 조사하거나 최종 결정을 내리는 역할이 아닙니다.

Complaints will be handled respectfully, fairly, as promptly as reasonably possible, confidentially where appropriate, and without retaliation against a person who raises a genuine concern.

모든 민원은 존중하는 태도로, 공정하게, 합리적으로 가능한 한 신속하게, 필요한 경우 비밀이 보장되는 방식으로 처리되며, 정당한 우려사항을 제기한 사람에게 어떠한 보복 조치도 취해지지 않습니다.

Information relating to complaints or member protection matters will only be shared with people who reasonably need the information. However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where there is a legal reporting obligation, a child may be at risk, a person may be in immediate danger, or police or another authority must be contacted.

Breaches may result in action depending on the seriousness and circumstances — ranging from an informal reminder to suspension, removal from a role, or referral to an Association or external authority.

Some matters may need to be referred outside the Club — for example, serious child safety concerns, alleged criminal conduct, immediate threats to safety, or matters requiring police or statutory authority involvement.

Western Warriors FC will maintain an appointed Member Protection Information Officer to provide information, guidance and support regarding member protection concerns.

This appointed person also serves as the Club's Child Safety Contact under the Child Safe & Safeguarding Policy — the MPIO and Child Safety Contact are the same person.
